Janet spans a full operating system (JanetOS), native mobile apps, IDE integration, music creation, and home automation — all built on constitutional AI and 16 axioms that govern behavior.
Ever wanted one assistant that could also control your browser, 3D app, or smart glasses? That's what Double Soul is about.
Janet has one core "soul" — who she is, her memory, her axioms. She can extend into other worlds: the browser, 3D modeling, smart glasses, and more. Each extension is a second "soul" that talks to that world. So Double Soul = Janet + one of those extensions. Think of it like your favorite character getting a power-up in a new world — same heart, new abilities.
Janet's core (janet-seed) stays in charge. The Double Soul is the bridge: it translates between you and that other system. Soul Check (Axiom 10) makes sure risky actions are confirmed before they run. Examples: browse the web (JanetXPinchTab), create 3D (JanetXBlender), wear Janet on your glasses (JanetXHalo), and more.
It's about architecture: one constitutional soul (identity, rules, memory) plus one domain soul (the bridge to Blender, the web, etc.). Two souls in one system — hence "Double Soul." If you grew up with Mega Man NT Warrior (Rockman.EXE), think Soul Unison — same idea.
